What is it about this time of year that makes me want to travel? I guess it’s the heat, but either way, I’ve taken off two weeks in June and I’m going to Hawaii! I’m so excited because I’ve never been and I’ve got the whole itinerary all planned out already. I’m going to hike up that volcano, go scuba diving and I may even learn to surf! I love exploring new places but I hate leaving my house unattended – I’m unnaturally paranoid something’s going to happen, and I think it stems from my childhood home burning down when I was younger. I recently got the place set up through http://www.securitychoice.com/adt-home-security/Texas/H/Harlingen/ so I feel a little better about burglars and fire, but I also asked my neighbor Jenny to come check on the place each day. The last thing I want to be thinking about when I’m lying on the beach in Maui is the state of my house! I can’t wait to get in the sun and soak up those Pacific rays – Hawaii here I come!

Myrtle Beach Resorts

Every year as we approach vacation time, I start dreaming about Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resorts and every year, we find a reason to go somewhere different. I’ve never been to any of the Myrtle Beach Resorts but one day…one day I tell you I am going to get my vacation.

I’ve been to much more high-end (if there is such a thing) places for vacations but the photos I’ve seen online and of other people’s vacations makes me so jealous. All you have to do is a search for Myrtle Beach Resorts and you will be packing your bags and ready to go too.

Where would you go? Do you have young children? Would you try to convince them that Santa would visit you where ever you were vacationing or just make them think Santa would leave their gifts at home. I know not everyone has small children. But still most families still have expectations of places to visit during the holidays and in my case, they very rarely care that I’d prefer to be on vacation somewhere.

Outer Banks rentals is just one of those places where you can get a great rental and then you can worry about how to handle the Santa issue when the time comes. Honestly, there is something about the Royal Bahamian properties just make me want to squeal with excitement.

Hotels – Mexico – Margarita’s – the Sand….

Do you ever wonder why these subjects come up just as you are feeling the need to run away. I mean, really, it’s almost Thanksgiving and in many parts it’s cold and for us it’s just cool but too cool to think about the sand and the surf.

But, if you are thinking much about a vacation, think about acapulco hotels, think about sand squishing through your toes while others have eat so much Turkey they have a pot belly that’s so big they can’t even see their toes. Ahhh, yes, a beach vacation is much needed about this time of the year…..every year.
