That and after the election, Vera Baker who had worked with Obama in 2004 in his run for Senate relocated after the election in 2008.  The woman worked hard for Obama to win his Senate seat and obviously his Presidential spot.  Why in the world would she not move, get out of here for a while and enjoy some down time.  Does that make sense?

Wait, I know, the naysayers and scandal-hunting freaks never make sense anyway, just forget I asked that question.

And Michelle?  What is her idea of the most popular music out there?  I bet if you looked through the selection of music at the White House, you will probably find a lot of kid’s music.  I mean, really, that’s just what happens when you have kids.  You turn in your “Do You Think I’m Sexy” for some “Ring ‘Around the Roses”….just how as parents we tend to make things happen.

I landed my first teaching job by…
I did not start out wanting to be a teacher. I got a job in a hospital lab while I was in college. I majored in Biology and got certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician. I continued in this position after I graduated.
I married before I graduated. My wife taught kindergarten. We rarely saw each other. I was working full time and taking classes at night. After I graduated, things were better but I had to work weekends and some nights. I also had to be on call several nights a week.
My wife kept telling me she thought I would be a great teacher. At her urging, I went back to school and got certified to teach. I was immediately offered a job at the junior high level. No way! I knew that was not what I wanted so I turned it down and kept working at the hospital.
Two years later, a month after school had started, I got a call. The Chemistry teacher at the high school was leaving for a college position. I was offered the job. I took and and 27 years later I am still glad I did.
It is rewarding to have students come back and tell me how well-prepared they were for college. I am thrilled when one of my students decides to be a Chemistry major.
If you know what you really want to teach, hang in there. Opportunity does come knocking!

I did have some hot legs when I was younger but my arms, nope, always been a victim of someone’s fashion joke when it comes to that.  I just can’t help it, my arms are definitely not my strong suit.

But, of course, for me, it’s more about keeping my 4 bedroom house clean than finding a house the size of the one Michelle lives in too.  I wonder if Michelle knows much about other door ways and if she would choose one type of door over another.  Or maybe she is stuck with what the construction workers and fashion police tell her is acceptable.

Wait, we all know she doesn’t care about the fashion police, now does she?

If you are in search of that one perfect outfit, you can be4 sure that opening your favorite search engine and looking probably going to get you no where.  But, if you choose one of your favorite fashion blogs, then you will at least have control over the type of clothing you find.

Even though I was athletic, I still hated the very idea of exercising.  And, as I’ve mentioned many times before, our First Lady, Michelle Obama is going to be  trend setter.  You don’t go around in sleeveless shirts when your arms look like mine.  But, when you have guns like Mrs. Obama, then definitely find a way to flaunt them.

And now, Mrs. Obama is joining in efforts to help fight what she calls an epidemic and refers to obesity as “one of the greatest threats to American’s health and economy”. 

Look for her to launch a major initiative next month regarding the problem of obesity in children.  What is she looking to accomplish here? “To put in place common-sense initiatives and solutions that empower families and communities to make healthy decisions for their kids”.

Wow!  that’s impressive.  Let’s hope it works out…for all of us.

I wonder if Michelle has found that vitamins of any kind help her because she seems to be on the go all the time.  The energy level she works at is unbelievable and I can’t help but wonder if she gets help from any vitamins.
