Going to Disney in Style
We will be nearing Orlando this time next week, or hopefully we will already be there. But, the long trip became a bit more bearable today when I learned that a major car corporation would be helping us travel. I’ve looked over all the cars and trucks out there, even checking chevy colorado specs and the gmc yukon hybrid.
I’m excited to even be going to Disney. Then the excitement builds because my five and seven year olds have never been and they are so terribly excited. And, it doesn’t always take something like a mercedes benz e-class or a acura tl to get me excited but I’m telling you right now, some fancy smany new car sure does make it sound that much more enjoyable!
Myrtle Beach Resorts
Every year as we approach vacation time, I start dreaming about Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resorts and every year, we find a reason to go somewhere different. I’ve never been to any of the Myrtle Beach Resorts but one day…one day I tell you I am going to get my vacation.
I’ve been to much more high-end (if there is such a thing) places for vacations but the photos I’ve seen online and of other people’s vacations makes me so jealous. All you have to do is a search for Myrtle Beach Resorts and you will be packing your bags and ready to go too.

Oh Beach Vacations, I do love you so
I love the beach. I see offers to take vacations to cold climates and I shutter at the thought. And, I know that right now, going to the beach isn’t exactly practical, but I don’t care. I’ll take cold white sand over cold white snow any day.
One of our favorite locations is in the Florida panhandle. You can find great destin vacations at a price you can afford and then you can spend your time listening to the waves crash instead of standing still frozen like a statue.
More Vacation Talk
Where would you go? Do you have young children? Would you try to convince them that Santa would visit you where ever you were vacationing or just make them think Santa would leave their gifts at home. I know not everyone has small children. But still most families still have expectations of places to visit during the holidays and in my case, they very rarely care that I’d prefer to be on vacation somewhere.
Outer Banks rentals is just one of those places where you can get a great rental and then you can worry about how to handle the Santa issue when the time comes. Honestly, there is something about the Royal Bahamian properties just make me want to squeal with excitement.
Vacationing in Mexico
I’ve traveled more in the last year than ever before in my life. And although I’ve spent more time waiting in airports than I care to recall, I would load up right now and head out on a vacation to somewhere that’s nice and warm if I could. I think if we hadn’t had children, my husband and I would probably spend every holiday traveling. But, when you have children, you have to stay stationary so they don’t get all upset about Santa finding where we are. And, of course, dragging those gifts along with me doesn’t really appeal to me either.
But, I’d move the Santa’s visit for a trip to the nice warm sunshine of cancun mexico without ever looking back. I”m not sure what my children would think if we told them we were heading out on a vacation and Santa would be waiting on us when we returned but I am not beyond trying it.
Hotels – Mexico – Margarita’s – the Sand….
Do you ever wonder why these subjects come up just as you are feeling the need to run away. I mean, really, it’s almost Thanksgiving and in many parts it’s cold and for us it’s just cool but too cool to think about the sand and the surf.
But, if you are thinking much about a vacation, think about acapulco hotels, think about sand squishing through your toes while others have eat so much Turkey they have a pot belly that’s so big they can’t even see their toes. Ahhh, yes, a beach vacation is much needed about this time of the year…..every year.
