Our House is One Big Toy Factory

Each day, as I  stumble out of my bed, I inevitably manage to stub my toe on some toys.  And each morning I screech out that battle cry that goes something like "tomorrow night, no one goes to bed until all of these toys are put away".

And guess what, it never happens.  The time never comes.  I wake up the next day and bam, another toe stubbed.  It’s so very aggravating but I love my babies.

Life Insurance

If something catastrophic were to happen in my family, I honestly do not know how we would cope.  My husband does have insurance at work and he has a great job and has had a great boss for a long time.  But, when it comes to being prepared for problems or accidents, we are just not that family.

We do try but we never seem to get on the right track.  We spend our time pedaling backwards faster than we can pedal forward.  But, the fact is, we need to get our act together and at least get a life insurance quote or two and start planning for our future.

How to land a Teacher Job by Buddy

I landed my first teaching job by…
I did not start out wanting to be a teacher. I got a job in a hospital lab while I was in college. I majored in Biology and got certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician. I continued in this position after I graduated.
I married before I graduated. My wife taught kindergarten. We rarely saw each other. I was working full time and taking classes at night. After I graduated, things were better but I had to work weekends and some nights. I also had to be on call several nights a week.
My wife kept telling me she thought I would be a great teacher. At her urging, I went back to school and got certified to teach. I was immediately offered a job at the junior high level. No way! I knew that was not what I wanted so I turned it down and kept working at the hospital.
Two years later, a month after school had started, I got a call. The Chemistry teacher at the high school was leaving for a college position. I was offered the job. I took and and 27 years later I am still glad I did.
It is rewarding to have students come back and tell me how well-prepared they were for college. I am thrilled when one of my students decides to be a Chemistry major.
If you know what you really want to teach, hang in there. Opportunity does come knocking!
Buddy is a high school Chemistry teacher in rural South Carolina. He has two sons and is married to a kindergarten teacher. This is his 27th year teaching.

Sports Tickets

I have always been a sports fanatic.  I played high school and collegiate sports and I’m one of a few women who love to hear the words Super Bowl, All-Star Games, Spring Training.  Other women I know shutter at the thought.  But, if I lived anywhere near a professional team, you can guarantee I’d bust my behind to purchase season tickets for my family.  I really do enjoy a good ball game of almost any kind.

Since we just watched the NBA All-Star game, tickets to see either the New York Knicks Tickets  or Los Angeles Lakers Tickets would be awesome.  I’m not sure how fun my husband would find it to be but I know my kids would be in complete aww of the game, the players, even the atmosphere.

And, there’s always the idea of moving near a town that offers professional sports and having New York Rangers Tickets  would just be one more reason to get excited.  I can tell you for certain, my kids would just be giddy with excitement.

Slimquick Extreme

Yea I seem to be discussing my weight a lot these days.  Possibly that’s because it seems to be bouncing around all over the place.  Up and down with no rhyme or reason.  For instance, I was losing weight right before I had TMJ surgery and since that time when I can’t chew, I’m putting it right back on.  That’ pretty ridiculous wouldn’t you say.

I’m sure if I had the nerve to try some good products like slimquick extreme, I might finally see some real results but for now, I”m just sitting around eating ice cream instead of yogurt and whining about not being able to chew.

Muscle Supplements

I remember my introduction to the college athletic work-outs.  And I remember being a weakling and having folks run circles around me, even in the weight room.  I was constantly searching for ways to increase my strength and endurance.  I would have been thrilled at that time to find muscle supplements that would have kept me from being the last one in everything, sprints, weight lifting, long distance running.  I really couldn’t believe how weak I really was

Colon Cleansing Diet

Having suffered from various gastrointestinal issues, finding a colon cleansing diet is sometimes absolutely necessary.  And, considering that I’ve had issues with my mouth since having surgery and the foods I can eat tend to have little fiber in them.

For some reason, I managed to find that ice cream tastes much better than yogurt which I think would have been much more beneficial to me.  But, I simply ate so much of that in the beginning, it’s only been 3 months, ugh, and now the ice cream is way more tasty!

Losing Weight

Round and Round and Round we go, where the dial stops…….ugh!  I’m so disgusted with the idea that losing weight is top on my list of topics today.  Every where I turn there’s a news article or post about losing weight.  And, I can promise you, I am certainly not partaking in that fad.

And, also trust me when I tell you that I’ve tried a zillion diets that work.  Is that a real number?  Zillion?  Honestly, I’ve given lots of effort to lots of fads but I have to find a way to do this right!

Outback Patio Furniture

My mom worked for a company at one time that made outdoor furniture.  You want to talk about hard work?  Yes, I know, I said my mother worked there, not me.  But, my mother is a tough woman and that place tore her down bad.

They made some awesome stuff though.  And, I currently only have a few pieces of patio furniture but it all came from her working at that plant.  Outdoor furniture has to be tough and if you are buying, you might as well pay good money for tough.  The weather is brutal on outdoor furniture so by all mean, get your moneys worth.

Mesothelioma Lawyer

Did you go to school in one of the buildings where asbestos was common-place?  Are you familiar with the idea that you could very well be sick due to the fact that you were exposed to asbestos as a child?  What about even as an adult?

I can’t be sure but I’m fairly certain that I grew up attending school in buildings that contained dangerous levels of asbestos.  And, folks like me everywhere are seeking a mesothelioma lawyer in situations like this.
